💡 Enter from the north end near Gulou Tower and walk downhill. The small art exhibitions in the renovated buildings are free and often excellent. No entry fee, shops optional.

Landmark in Wuhan

Yangtze River Bridge Walk
Free 2.5 km from centre

Walk or cycle across the 1.7-kilometre double-decker bridge built in 1957. The lower level carries trains, the upper level road and pedestrian paths. Panoramas of the river, the tower and the city skyline.

🕐 Open 24 hours (path is uncovered, weather permitting)

💡 Cross from the Wuchang side at sunset – the light is best, and you can watch the trains rumble past directly below. Allow 40 minutes at a leisurely pace.
