Things to Do in Vöran - Verano

Small 13th-century church with Gothic frescoes inside, including a well-preserved Last Judgment scene. Recently restored.

💡 The key is usually kept at the house directly opposite – knock politely and ask. If locked, you can still see the frescoes through the glass door.

Historic irrigation channel trail along the mountain slope, with wooden sluices and plenty of benches. Mostly flat and shaded by larches.

💡 Combine this with a stop at the 'Buschenschank' at Oberfennberg farm for a glass of local Schiava wine – cheap and proper.

Free outdoor wellness circuit with separate cold-water arm and foot baths, plus a walking barefoot path. Clean and maintained.

💡 Visit in late afternoon when the sun warms the wooden planking. Bring a towel – no changing facilities, but it's quiet and discreet.

A circular walking trail through the village and surrounding meadows, with views of Texel Group mountains. Takes about 45 minutes.

💡 Pick up a free map from the tourist office. The trail is well-marked and runs past working farmsteads and wooden water troughs.

Small museum in a farmhouse showing traditional dairy tools and alpine cheese-making equipment. Covers local hay milk production.

💡 Entry is €3 – pay at the tourist office in the village centre first, as it's not always manned. Ask for the 'Museumskombi' ticket if you also plan to visit the similar one in Mölten.
