Things to Do in Schwyz

Medieval core with painted facades, cobbled streets, and the Rathaus square. Features the 16th-century Great Tower (Grosser Turm) and a handful of frescoed houses. Walkable in 30 minutes.

💡 Start at Brunnen pier and walk only the first 2km to the 'Rütli' meadow for the best quick view. No need to do the whole thing.

Small lake south of Schwyz, surrounded by woodland and farmland. Has a free public lido (grass beach) and a 6km walking loop. Quiet, less touristy than Lake Lucerne.
