Things to Do in Quan Ba

A village market held every Sunday morning, drawing Hmong and Dao ethnic minorities from surrounding valleys. You'll find local produce, textiles, and street food.

A Hmong women's cooperative where you can watch traditional flax processing from fibre to dyed fabric. No entry fee, but donation or purchase expected.

💡 They sell scarves and fabric at fair prices—30,000-100,000 VND. Skip the rushed tour group demos; ask to watch individual women at work in the back rooms for the real process.

A small museum with displays of local geological history in the Dong Van Geopark, ethnic costumes, and agricultural tools. Modest but informative.

💡 Ask the caretaker to turn on the English video—it's a 15-minute overview of the geopark. The museum is often closed for lunch 12-1pm, so plan around that.
