Baku International Bus Terminal to Qax From 12 AZN 300 min

Buy your ticket at the terminal counter an hour before departure – buses often fill up on weekends. The ride is comfortable with A/C. From Qax station, take a local minibus (2 AZN) to Ağçay village; Şimşək Qonaq is a 10-min walk.

Local Minibus (Ağçay village route) From 2 AZN 20 min

Minibuses (marshrutkas) run along the main road – wave them down. They don't have fixed stops, so tell the driver 'Ağçay' when you board. The last one leaves around 7pm; after that, a shared taxi is 5 AZN.

Baku–Qax Railway From 8 AZN 360 min

The train is slow and scenic through the mountains – worth it for views. Only one departure per day; book 1-2 days ahead at the station. From Qax station, a taxi to Ağçay costs about 10 AZN.

Heydar Aliyev Airport Taxi From 80 AZN 240 min

Agree on the fare before you get in. Official airport taxis are at the stand outside arrivals, but local drivers at the rank often accept 70 AZN if you haggle.
