Getting Around Matosinhos
This bus runs along the coast and gets you to central Porto quicker than the metro. From Senhor de Matosinhos metro stop, it’s a 2-min walk. Tap your Andante card on entry and exit.
Get the Andante card at the airport ticket machine (€0.60) and load a Z2 zone fare (€1.85 one-way). The bus drops you a 10-min walk from Portofino.
A single metro ticket from the airport zone (Z3) costs €2.50. But if you plan to use public transport in Porto, buy the Andante tour card for 24h (€7) or 72h (€15)—covers metro and buses. Get off at Senhor de Matosinhos and it’s a 5-min walk to the hotel.
Use Uber or Bolt for a fixed price around €12-18. Avoid drivers who approach you inside arrivals—head to the official taxi rank outside.
