Getting Around Hervey Bay

Wide Bay Transit route 2 or 5 From 2.50 AUD 40 min

The stop is a 15 minute walk down an unlit gravel road — do this only in daylight with small luggage. Better to ring a taxi from the stop.

Greyhound Australia From 35 AUD 300 min

Get off at the stop near the service centre on Boat Harbour Drive. Then it's a 20 min taxi ($30) to the resort — the bus doesn't go near Susan River.

Cabby Connect / local taxi From 40 AUD 15 min

Queue at the rank outside arrivals. Book ahead if you're arriving after 9pm — drivers are scarce and you'll wait.

Queensland Rail (Tilt Train) + coach connection From 60 AUD 270 min

Get off at Maryborough West station, not Hervey Bay. A free coach meets the train to Tiaro, then book a taxi 10 mins to the resort — saves backtracking.
