Getting Around Garda
Take ATV bus 199 from airport to Verona Porta Nuova station (2€, 12 mins), then catch ATV bus 162 towards Garda. Get off at 'Garda Piazza Carducci' — hotel is a 3-min walk. Validate ticket on bus.
Take high-speed to Desenzano del Garda (1 hr, 15€ regional), then hop the FNMA bus from the station to Garda (6€, 30 mins). Don't change at Peschiera — bus is less scenic.
The 162 bus stops right at 'Garda Viale XXV Aprile', 100m from hotel. Best for day trips to Verona — buy a round-trip ticket at Garda tabacchi (7€ total) to save queuing.
Book ahead with a local company like Garda Taxi (not Uber) — the fixed €80 rate includes luggage and drops you at the door. Avoid unsolicited drivers at arrivals.
