Getting Around Chengdu
Bus drops you at Jinjiang Hotel, which is a 15-minute walk or a quick 5-yuan taxi ride to Rest Posthouse. Avoid rush hour if you can.
Only useful if you're arriving by high-speed train. Take Metro Line 2 from the station to 天府广场 (Tianfu Square) – same walk as the airport metro tip.
Buy a single-use QR ticket from the machines – they accept WeChat Pay or cash. The walk from Tianfu Square to Rest Posthouse is about 8 minutes through an underpass.
Insist the driver uses the meter – a fixed price is often a scam. Have your hotel address in Chinese ready on your phone.
