💡 Take the cable car from Blida town for about 100 DZD each way. The park itself costs nothing to enter.

Large botanical garden in Algiers, but cheap entry (around 50 DZD). Has European and tropical sections, a small zoo.

💡 Go early on a weekday to avoid crowds. The cactus garden is excellent. Take bus 42 from Blida centre.

Bustling market in the old town where locals sell fruit, spices, textiles and household goods. Great for people-watching.

💡 Haggle politely. Bring small notes. Try a fresh pomegranate juice from a stall for 30 DZD. Best in morning.

16th-century mosque and mausoleum of a famous Sufi scholar. Simple whitewashed building with a courtyard and minaret.

💡 Cover your shoulders and knees; women should bring a scarf. The adjacent hammam is worth a look (entry 30 DZD).
