Agreement to terms

By accessing or using TripSage at tripsage.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service. "You" refers to the individual accessing or using the Service.

The service

TripSage is a hotel intelligence platform that provides travellers with informational briefings about hotels, including:

• Room selection tips and floor-level intelligence
• Weather forecasts sourced from Open-Meteo
• Local events and their potential impact on hotel stays
• Restaurant recommendations and dining guides
• Transport information and airport transfer guides
• Disruption and construction alerts
• Email stay-alert subscriptions

TripSage is not a hotel booking service. We do not make, manage, or cancel hotel reservations. We do not act as a travel agent. All hotel bookings must be made directly with the hotel or through a booking platform of your choice.

The Service is provided free of charge to users. We generate revenue through affiliate partnerships (see Affiliate links).

Accuracy of information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure the information on TripSage is accurate, current, and useful. However:

• Room intelligence, restaurant recommendations, and transport guides are curated from publicly available sources and may not reflect current hotel configurations, refurbishments, or policy changes.
• Weather forecasts are provided by Open-Meteo and are subject to inherent limitations in forecasting accuracy, especially beyond 7 days.
• Event information is sourced from public listings and may be incomplete or subject to change.
• Prices, opening hours, and other time-sensitive information may not be up to date.

All information on TripSage is provided for informational purposes only. You should verify critical details directly with the relevant hotel, restaurant, or transport provider before making decisions based on our content.

Affiliate links

TripSage contains affiliate links to third-party services including, but not limited to, GetYourGuide, Trainline, Discover Cars, OpenTable, World Nomads, Skyscanner, Wise, and Amazon.

When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase or reservation, TripSage may earn a commission from the relevant company. This commission comes at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content. Our hotel intelligence, restaurant recommendations, and travel tips are based on independent research and are not paid for or influenced by any third party. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service
• Use automated tools to submit forms or generate false subscribers
• Republish or resell our content without attribution and permission
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

Intellectual property

The TripSage name, logo, website design, and original written content are the property of TripSage and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

AI-generated content on TripSage (including hotel briefings and room intelligence) is produced using the Claude API by Anthropic. You may reference or quote this content for personal, non-commercial purposes provided you attribute it to TripSage and link back to tripsage.ai.

Hotel names, brand names, and trademarks referenced on TripSage are the property of their respective owners. TripSage has no affiliation with or endorsement from any hotel brand unless explicitly stated.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with and links to third-party services. TripSage is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website or service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable UK law, TripSage and its operators:

• Provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied
• Do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• Shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service
• Shall not be liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on information provided through the Service

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
