Getting Around Worms

Taxi from Frankfurt Airport From 120 EUR 50 min

Booking with Taxi Worms (06241 55555) in advance gives a fixed fare around 110-130 EUR. Avoid meter-only taxis at the airport — they'll charge more for highway tolls.

Bus 406 from Worms station to Central Hotel From 2.50 EUR 5 min

Get a day ticket from the VRN vending machine at the station (6.90 EUR for zones 1-3). It covers the bus and any local trams. The Marktplatz stop leaves you 50m from Central Hotel's entrance.

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) to Worms Hbf (ICE/RE) From 25 EUR 40 min

Regionalbahn (RB) from Mainz Hbf to Worms From 8 EUR 30 min

If you're coming from the north, change at Mainz. The RB runs along the Rhine — sit on the left side for castle views. This is a cheaper but slower alternative to the ICE from Frankfurt.
