Impressive cable-stayed bridge spanning the fjord. Worth walking across for the views of the water and town. Not as dramatic as the storebælt bridge, but elegant in its own way.

💡 Go at sunset for the best light. The pedestrian path is on the south side, away from traffic noise.

Large green space with a lake, wildflower meadows and walking paths. Good for a quiet picnic or a jog. The park also has an old watermill.

Reclaimed gravel pit turned into a sculpture park with large-scale concrete and steel works by Robert Jacobsen. A bit of a walk from the centre, but worth it for the surreal landscape and quirky art.

💡 Best reached by bike — follow the gravel path from the end of Vejle Lystbådehavn. Wear good shoes, the terrain is uneven.

Modern and contemporary art in a converted textile mill. Focuses on Danish and Nordic works, with a strong collection of surrealist paintings.
