Getting Around Uzice
Buy a paper ticket from the kiosk at the station — it's half the price of buying from the driver. Get off at 'Gradski Trg' stop, then walk 2 mins south.
Agree on the price before you get in. Many drivers will do €70 flat if you book via taxi app Car:Go or call local operator Taxi Užice (+381 64 123 4567).
Scenic but slow — the track hugs the Morava Valley. Only take this if you have time to spare and want views of the countryside. Bring snacks; the buffet car is unreliable.
Buy your ticket at the BAS counter, not online — the digital system often overcharges. Sit on the left side of the bus for views of the Đetinja River gorge.
