Getting Around Uttaradit
Flights to PHS are rare; take the bus from the airport to the train station (20 THB), then the train to Uttaradit works out cheaper.

Wave down any red Songthaew on the main road; tell the driver 'Sala Klang' (central hall) to get near the closed hotel.
Book a 2nd class sleeper for comfort on the overnight journey; the station is 2 km from the closed Friday Hotel.
