Large public park with walking paths, a lake, and a birdwatching tower. Good for a quiet afternoon away from traffic.

A 165-metre man-made waterfall, one of the tallest in Europe. The viewing platforms cost a small fee, but you can see part of it for free from the lower Belvede

Getting Around Terni

TCST Local Bus 1 or 4 from Terni Station to Hotel Posta From 1.10 5 min

Buy the ticket from the tabacchi inside the station — drivers don't sell them. Validate it in the machine on board. For 10-minute walk that saves you waiting, head straight out the station, cross the big roundabout, then go up Corso Tacito. Hotel is on the left.

Intercity or Regional train from Roma Termini to Terni From 13 75 min

Regional trains are cheaper but 10 minutes slower — 'Intercity' gives you guaranteed seating and fewer stops. Once at Terni station, exit left, cross the roundabout, and the hotel is 2 blocks up Corso Tacito.

Pre-book online to avoid surge pricing. Confirm the driver will drop you right at Viale Stazione, the hotel's address — some stop at Terni's station.
