Things to Do in Teresopolis

The main church of Teresópolis, built in the 1930s in eclectic style with a striking blue-and-white facade. Inside, stained-glass windows depict local saints and the altar is carved from cedar. Quiet and peaceful.

💡 Pop in during the 6pm Saturday mass for a lovely choir performance – no one minds tourists sitting at the back. The bell tower is closed to the public but you can see the mechanism through a glass panel in the vestry.
