Large concrete monument at the main roundabout, depicting Ghana’s independence symbols. A quick stop to photograph the iconic sculpture and the sweeping view of the city layout from the pavement.

💡 Best photographed in late afternoon for golden light on the concrete. Not a place to linger at night. Combine this with a walk along the nearby Community 1 market street.

A well-maintained public park with shaded benches, a children’s play area, and open lawns. Popular with locals for relaxing and weekend picnics. Safe and clean for families.

💡 Go early in the morning (before 8am) for a cooler, quieter experience; the park gets busier after 4pm with joggers and kids.

Undeveloped beach used mostly by local fishermen and a few early-morning swimmers. Dark sand, no amenities (no changing rooms, no food stalls), but peaceful for a walk. Can get littered.
