Getting Around Sekondi

Tro-Tro Shared Minibus From 2 GHS 10 min

Tro-tros stop anywhere along the route—wave one down heading towards the hospital roundabout. Hand your fare to the mate (conductor) not the driver.

Local Shared Taxi (Drop) From 5 GHS 10 min

Look for a taxi with passengers already inside—ask the driver 'drop?' You pay only your share of the route. To get a private ride, say 'charter' and expect 15-20 GHS.

Takoradi Airport Taxi From 50 GHS 25 min

Negotiate the fare before you get in; 50 GHS is standard for this ride. Book through the hotel reception if you want a fixed price.

Hotel Airport Transfer From 60 GHS 25 min

Call the hotel at least a day ahead to book their driver. They charge a bit extra but it avoids haggling and they'll wait if your flight is delayed.
