Deeper Into Sanliurfa
A small artificial lake next to the Rızvaniye Mosque, surrounded by landscaped gardens, walkways and benches. Named after Zeliha, the daughter of the Nimrod king who saved Abraham from fire.

The shuttle drops you at the bus station, about 2 km from Gülizar Otel. Walk or take a short taxi (20 TL) from there.
Look for dolmuş with a 'Balıklıgöl' sign on the windscreen. Pay the driver when you get off. Exact change helps.
Buy a contactless transport card from the kiosk at the main bus station. Single tickets on the bus cost more. Bus route 1 runs past the museum.
