Call Ritchies on 03 5144 2244—Uber isn't reliable in Sale. The walk is 10 minutes flat, so only cab it if you have heavy luggage. For evenings, pre-book a return taxi when you arrive.

V/Line Coach (via Traralgon) From AUD 25 240 min

Cheapest option, but book online 24hrs ahead—seats fill. The coach has a toilet. Get off at the Sale Post Office stop on Foster Street; Bon Accord is literally across the road. No Sunday service.

Sale Taxi Service From AUD 300 180 min

Book a fixed-price sedan via 13CABS or Silver Top at least 2 hours ahead. Avoid surge rates by landing before 8pm. The drive via Princes Freeway M1 is quicker than the coastal route.

V/Line Train to Sale Station From AUD 32 150 min

Get a Myki card for the fare—tap on and off, no paper tickets. The 6am train avoids crowds. From Sale station, walk east down Raymond Street; Bon Accord is the big Edwardian house on the corner.
