Things to Do in Phetchaburi

A lively covered market selling local produce, snacks, and everyday goods. Great for observing daily life and trying cheap street eats.

Ancient temple with a magnificent 14th-century prang and serene courtyards. The main hall has fine murals and a large Buddha image.

💡 Visit on a weekday morning to have the place almost to yourself. The monks sell small amulets at the side gate.

A paved promenade along the Phet River with old wooden houses, small shrines, and street food stalls. Nice for a quiet stroll in the late afternoon.
