Getting Around Phan Thiet
Buses from Cam Ranh to Phan Thiet aren't frequent – check Futa's schedule in advance. From the city bus station, take a Grab to Sand Dune Hotel (about 30k VND). The ride is hot and bumpy; bring water and a scarf for the air-con.
Use Grab app for fixed price – about 400k VND. Mai Linh taxis are reliable but always agree the meter. The drive is 3 hours via Highway 1, scenic but winding near the coast.
Look for the yellow bus with '1' on the front. It stops at sand dunes – tell the driver 'Sand Dune Hotel' or ask for 'đồi cát'. No air-con, but it's cheap and gives a local view. Have small change ready.
