Getting Around Pak Chong
Take the 09:25 Express (No. 133) – it’s the fastest at 3.5 hours. From station, grab a red songthaew (20 THB/person) to Ban Mai Chai; tell driver it’s on Mittraphap Road near the PTT station.
Flag a red songthaew from the main road — they run like buses. For short runs, they’re dirt cheap; haggle if you want private hire. Keep small change ready, drivers rarely have it.
Buy a ticket to 'Khao Yai' (via Pak Chong). Air-con buses are comfortable. At Pak Chong bus terminal, take a motorbike taxi (50 THB) to the resort — or walk 10 mins to Mittraphap Road and flag a songthaew (15 THB).
Book with a local driver via Pak Chong taxi groups on Facebook for 1800-2000 THB. Shared vans from airport cost 300 THB/person but drop you at the main road—add 100 THB for resort drop-off.
