Getting Around Oba
Dolmuşes run east along the coastal road. Flag one down on Atatürk Boulevard heading east – tell the driver 'Oba White Gold'. Cost is 15 TL (2024). They stop right outside the hotel. Cash only, have small change. This is the local's choice for quick runs from town.
Agree on the fare before getting in – this run should cost around 50-60 EUR. The hotel can arrange a pre-booked transfer for about the same price, which saves you haggling.
From the airport take tram T1A to Otogar (1 hour, 20 TL). Then a long-distance bus to Alanya (2 hours, 100 TL). From Alanya Otogar, a 10-min walk east to the dolmuş stop for Oba. This works if you're on a tight budget but it's slow and takes two changes.
Take HAVAS from the airport to Alanya Otogar (bus station, about 14 EUR). Then hop on a green or white dolmuş heading east along the coast – ask for 'Oba White Gold'. Total cost under 400 TL (2024 rates). Save 75% vs taxi.
