Small, well-kept temple dedicated to the 13th-century general. Features traditional Vietnamese architecture and a peaceful courtyard.

💡 Combines well with a walk to the nearby riverbank. Entrance is free, but leave a small donation (5,000–10,000 VND) if you take incense.

💡 Go on a weekday to have it nearly to yourself. Bring insect repellent and a swimsuit – the deeper pools are refreshing after a 15-minute walk upstream.

Vast salt flats where locals harvest salt under the sun. Best viewed early morning or late afternoon when workers are active and light is good for photos.

💡 Take a motorbike east on QL1A then turn onto the dirt track near the wind turbines. No facilities, so bring your own water.
