A serene artificial lake about 45km from the city centre, built by the Bhonsle rulers. Surrounded by temples and hills. Ideal for a half-day trip.

Nagpur Mahanagar Bus (Orange City Bus) From ₹20 50 min

Bus route 144 goes direct to Sitabuldi. Keep small change—conductors rarely have change for ₹100.

Auto-rickshaw (shared) From ₹30 45 min

Shared autos run fixed routes; you'll be jammed in with 4 others. Pay at the end, and don't pay more than ₹30 per person.

Nagpur Metro From ₹30 20 min

The metro doesn't yet reach the airport (2024). Take an auto to Sitabuldi Metro Station first, then ride one stop to Gandhibagh. The hostel is a 5-minute walk from there.

Prepaid Taxi From ₹500 35 min

Use the prepaid counter in the arrivals hall to fix the fare. Avoid drivers offering 'meter' rides—they often quote higher.
