Things to Do in Mount Gambier

A regional gallery and museum in a restored 1880s post office. Exhibits cover local art, history and geology, including artifacts from the Burrunjup people.

A landscaped park built around a vertical cave sinkhole in the town centre. Paths lead down into the cave with views of the limestone formations.

💡 The cave is best seen from the bottom level. The stone steps are steep but worth the descent.

A limestone sinkhole converted into a lush sunken garden with ferns, flowers, and lawn. Possums come to feed at dusk.
