Getting Around Menderes
Menderes doesn't have a tram system. The nearest tram lines are in central Izmir – you'd need to take İZBAN or bus first.
Fast and cheap – but only runs to Menderes station, about 1.5 km from the hotel. Either walk (15 mins along main road) or catch a taxi (€3-4) from the station. Buy a Kentkart card at the station ticket machine for easiest travel.
Take Havas bus to Menderes town centre – get off at the main square. Then catch a yellow minibus (dolmuş) to the hotel area. The walk from the stop to the hotel is less than 5 minutes. Cash only, exact change needed for the minibus.
Agree on the fare before getting in – airport taxis often quote €30-40; pre-booked transfers via the hotel or TransferPro can be €25-30 and avoid haggling.
