Things to Do in Mathura

A 19th-century temple dedicated to Krishna, built in a striking blend of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. The main deity is a black marble statue of Krishna.

The main ghat on the Yamuna river, believed to be where Krishna rested after killing Kansa. Steps lead down to water; you can sit and watch pilgrims perform rituals.
