A compact museum in a colonial-era building covering Marabá's history—rubber boom, indigenous cultures, and the 1996 massacre. Exhibits are in Portuguese but photos help.

💡 Don't miss the upstairs model of the old seringal (rubber plantation). The staff are friendly and happy to explain if you tell them you're a visitor.

A municipal zoo within a park, home to rescued Amazonian wildlife like jaguars, macaws, and monkeys. The enclosures are basic but the setting is leafy and calm.

Churrascaria no Kilo

Roda Viva Bar e Petiscaria

A 4km round-trip trail through secondary forest to a series of small waterfalls and pools. The swimming is excellent—clear, cool water. No facilities.

💡 The trailhead is past the Tapirapé village. Ask permission at the village entrance (they appreciate a small donation of R$5-10). Go after a dry week to avoid muddy banks.
