Getting Around Malcesine
Take the regional train from Porta Nuova to Rovereto. Exit and switch to bus 160 (run by Trentino Trasporti) heading south along Lake Garda to Malcesine. The bus stop is opposite the hotel on Via Gardesana. Avoid the faster direct trains that skip Rovereto.
Book a fixed-price transfer online through services like Malcesine Shuttle or Suntransfers to avoid meters. Confirm drop-off at the hotel’s car park on Via Gardesana, not the pedestrian-only centre.
Take the Airport Shuttle to Verona Porta Nuova station, then bus 483/484 to Malcesine. Get off at the 'Malcesine - Via Gardesana' stop, a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Buy tickets at the airport newsstand or via the ATV app—cash only on the bus.
If staying on the west side of the lake, use the passenger ferry from Limone. It’s scenic and drops you at the Malcesine pier, 800m from the hotel. Walk up Via Capitanato to Via Gardesana. Buy return tickets at the kiosk or online—avoid buying on board as queues are long.
