Getting Around Liberia

Intercity Bus (Public) From $0.35 10 min

Take the 'Ruta Centro' bus from the terminal. Get off at the Parque Central stop. The hotel is two blocks north. Ask the driver for a stop close to ‘Avenida 3 y Calle 1.’

Local Bus From $0.60 30 min

Walk out of the airport to the main road (Route 21). Flag down any bus heading north marked 'Liberia Centro.' Get off at the stop before the central park. The hotel is two blocks east.

Local Taxi (colectivo) From $1.50 5 min

Shared taxis (colectivos) run a fixed route along Calle 2. Look for red cars with yellow triangle stickers. Tell the driver 'La Casona, by the park'—they’ll drop you at the corner.

Airport Taxi From $15 15 min

Official airport taxis are safe and metered. Haggle if quoted over $20. Ask your driver to drop you at Calle 1, Avenida 3—the hotel is a blue door half a block north of the park.
