Things to Do in Kukes

A small public park in the centre with paved paths, benches, and a few playground structures. Used by locals for evening promenades and sitting out.

💡 It's next to the main square, so visit during the afternoon for shade or early evening to see families gathering. The ice-cream kiosk at the east corner is excellent.

A gravel path along the eastern edge of the Drin River reservoir, created by the Fierza dam. Benches and shaded spots make it a good place for a stroll or picnic.

💡 Start from the bypass road near the old market and follow the shore south for about 2 km to reach a quiet beach area. No facilities en route — bring water.

The main mosque in town, built in the 1990s with a simple white facade and a single minaret. Quiet and respectful place to understand local religious life.

Stone fortress ruins on a hilltop overlooking the town and Lake Fierza. Built in the 17th century, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and reservoir.
