Getting Around Kingston
This bus runs from downtown outward. You'll need to take a taxi from the airport to the Transport Centre first. It's a cheap but slow option — expect crowded conditions and no AC.
Book online at knutsfordexpress.com a day ahead. This coach is air-conditioned and reliable, but the stop is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. You'll pass the marina — ask the driver to let you off at the Port Royal junction.
Use only JUTA-licensed taxis from the official booth inside arrivals. Fix the fare before you get in, and confirm it covers bags. Unofficial drivers may quote higher.
Email the hotel concierge at least 48 hours before arrival. Their driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board. Costs a bit more but saves the haggle, and the car is clean and safe for late arrivals.
