SB63 + Regionalbus 231 From €5.50–€8.50 105 min

Buy a day ticket for €8.50 — it covers both buses. Get off at 'Kall, Bf' and walk 12 minutes uphill. The bus driver can call the hotel if you're lost.

Line 18 (Köln to Brühl) + RE9 to Kall From €8.00–€12.00 (tram + train combo day ticket) 90 min

Only useful if you're already on the west side of Cologne. Get off at 'Köln Breslauer Platz' for the tram, then walk to 'Köln Hbf' for the RE9. Not the fastest option, but a good backup if trains are disrupted.

Agree on a fixed price with the driver before you set off — meter runs can be higher. Book a return for the same price.
