Things to Do in Jizzax

A small museum covering local history, archaeology, and ethnography. Exhibits include Soviet-era artifacts, traditional Uzbek textiles, and a section on the Silk Road. The building is modest but well-maintained.

A mountain park with juniper forests and clear streams, about 50km north of Jizzax. The main trail follows the Guralash River. Basic picnic spots and benches. Entry is free, though parking near the gate costs a small fee.

A simple 19th-century mausoleum with a blue-tiled dome, dedicated to a local Sufi saint. Set back from the road behind a wall. The interior is one room with tomb and prayer area. Small courtyard with a well.
