💡 The garden is free and open until dusk. Go late afternoon when the light is golden and the garden is less crowded. The real view is from the fort's south wall – you can see the whole city spread out below.
A natural cave temple on the banks of the Tawi, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It consists of three chambers carved into the rock, with a natural spring inside.

Getting Around Jammu
Buses are crowded during peak hours (8-10 AM, 5-7 PM). Stand near the rear door for easy exit. Keep exact change - drivers rarely break notes.
Ola is more reliable than Uber in Jammu. Enter 'Touring Officers Hostel' not 'Guest House' as address. Drivers often ask to cancel and take cash - insist on app payment.
Only useful if you're arriving at the railway station or heading to outskirts. Auto from Nowgam to guest house costs about 80 rupees - share with other passengers to split the fare.
Use the prepaid counter inside the arrivals hall to avoid haggling. Scenic drive along the Tawi River if you go via Old Jammu Road.
