About
Know your hotel — before you arrive
TripSage is a free, post-booking hotel intelligence platform. You've already booked the hotel; we tell you everything that makes the stay better.
What TripSage is
Every travel app helps you book the trip. None of them help with what happens after you've booked. Which room should you request? Will it actually rain on your dates? Where do locals eat instead of the tourist trap by the lobby? What's the cheapest way in from the airport?
That information exists, but it's scattered across a dozen tabs and written for people still deciding — not for someone who's already committed. TripSage fixes that. Enter any hotel and your stay dates, and you get a free pre-arrival briefing: the best rooms to request, a 14-day forecast for your exact dates, where locals really eat, how to get in from the airport, and the essentials like money, plugs and tap-water safety. Any hotel on earth, in 10 languages, with no account required.
Who's behind it
TripSage is built and run by Damanjeet Singh, a frequent traveller who got tired of landing in a new city knowing the hotel's price but nothing about the room, the weather, or the neighbourhood. It's an independent, bootstrapped project — small, focused, and built in public.

Where our data comes from
We believe in showing our work. Each fact comes from the most reliable free or first-party source for that field, and anything we can't verify is dropped rather than guessed:
- Hotels & places — OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors) for locations, addresses and real amenity data.
- Weather — Open-Meteo for the 14-day forecast tied to your exact stay dates.
- Ratings & reviews — Google Place Details, fetched once per hotel on a real visit.
- City background — Wikipedia-grade facts.
- Written guidance — drafted with AI and constrained to verifiable, non-falsifiable advice (never invented specifics like fake phone numbers or room numbers).
Our accuracy standard
The hard rule behind TripSage: no made-up facts. Concrete details — contact numbers, coordinates, opening hours — come from real data sources, never from a language model's imagination. AI is used only for non-falsifiable, genuinely helpful writing (what a neighbourhood feels like, how to pack for a climate). If something can't be verified, we leave it out. Spot something wrong? Tell us and we'll fix it.
Why it's free
TripSage is free for every traveller, forever. We cover our costs through optional travel affiliate partnerships — if you book a car, a tour, a train or travel money through a link we suggest, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We never charge travellers and never gate the briefing behind an account.
Use our data
Run a travel blog or a hotel website? Many of our guides offer a free, self-updating widget you can embed — look for "Add this guide to your site" on any best-time-to-visit page.
