💡 Don't buy tourist trinkets here—head to Hampi for that. Instead, try the fresh idli and chutney from a stall near the bus stand for ₹15.

A series of stone steps leading down to the river, popular for evening strolls, sunset viewing, and local laundry activity. Free access to sit, chat, or dip your feet.

💡 Bring chappals you don't mind getting wet; the steps can be slippery. Street vendors sell fresh sugarcane juice for ₹10.

A small, partly ruined 16th-century fort on a rocky hill overlooking the town. Free to climb, offering panoramic views of Hosapete and the distant Hampi hills.

💡 Wear sturdy shoes as the path is uneven; go at late afternoon for golden light and less heat. No shade at summit.

The ancient temple's outer courtyard and elephant gate are free to enter. You can see the towering gopuram, the sacred tank, and often the temple elephant without paying the inner sanctum fee.
