Getting Around Gorontalo

Bandara Djalaluddin Airport Taxi From 100000 IDR 30 min

Buy a fixed-rate coupon at the airport desk inside arrivals to avoid haggling. The drive via Jalan Trans-Sulawesi is straightforward.

Gojek / Grab Motorbike From 15000 IDR 15 min

Cheaper than a car taxi for solo travellers. Pin-drop the exact hotel location, as drivers sometimes miss the side road. Helmets provided.

Damri Bus Airport Shuttle From 30000 IDR 40 min

This goes to the main bus terminal, not Hotel Saronde directly. From Terminal 42, take a Pohon Kasih bemo (see above) for the final 15-minute leg. Best for budget travellers with light bags.

Pohon Kasih Angkot (Bemo) From 5000 IDR 20 min

These yellow minibuses stop at the Saronde junction. Wave them down and say 'Saronde' – the driver will drop you at the hotel's side road. Carry small change.
