Getting Around Giresun
Agree on the fare before getting in — drivers near the terminal often quote higher. The fixed-rate Havas shuttle is cheaper if you don't mind a shared ride.
The hotel is on a steep hill above the main square. Taxis are plentiful but can get stuck in narrow streets during rush hour — walk if you're light on luggage. Ask for 'Kale Mahallesi'.
Look for the white Havas minibus outside arrivals. They time departures to meet incoming flights, so you'll rarely wait long. Get off at the Atatürk Bulvarı stop — from there it's a 10-minute walk uphill to Otel Kale.
Lines 2 and 5 run up to the castle area. Buy a contactless card from the Otogar or central kiosk — drivers don't take cash. Get off at 'Kale' stop; the hotel entrance is 100m up the lane on the right.
