Things to Do in Ghaziabad

A historic clock tower built in the 1930s, standing in a busy market square. The structure itself is simple but marks the old centre of Ghaziabad.

💡 Best photographed at dusk when the surrounding shops light up. Avoid midday crowds. Check out the book market two streets north.

A 20-acre regenerated forest with walking trails, bird hides, and a small lake. Good for early morning walks and spotting parakeets and kingfishers.

💡 Go at sunrise to see the most birds. The eastern trail is shorter but quieter. Carry a water bottle—no stalls inside.

A large water park with multiple pools and slides open during summer months. The grounds around it are free to walk through when the park is closed for the season.

💡 Visit on a weekday in June when entry is cheapest. Bring your own snacks as on-site food is overpriced.

A modern Hare Krishna temple with a peaceful courtyard and evening aarti. Volunteers run a free vegetarian meal programme on Sunday afternoons.

💡 Join the 7pm aarti for the best atmosphere. Donations for the meal are optional but welcomed. Shoes must be left outside.

A small government-run museum displaying local archaeology, coins, and textiles from the area. Two rooms with labelled exhibits. Entry is 10 rupees.

💡 Call ahead to check if the museum is open—staffing is unpredictable. Allow 30 minutes. The coin collection is the highlight.
