Getting Around Genève
Use the automatic ticket machines or the SBB app—ticket vending machines accept cards. Your hotel is directly opposite the station, so no need for a connecting tram.
Buy a ticket from the machine at the bus stop—credit cards accepted. Bus 10 runs a direct route past the lake. Get off at 'Cornavin' stop, then cross the square; hotel is 50m away.
Tram 18 is slightly slower than the train but runs directly into the city centre. Validate your ticket in the machine onboard. If arriving late, check the night bus network (Noctambus) for after-midnight service.
Taxis line up outside the Arrivals exit. Avoid unlicensed drivers waving at you—stick to the official queue. Flat rate to city centre is ~35 CHF, but check the meter in case of traffic surcharge.
