Getting Around Garut

Cikuray Train (Economy) From 15,000 IDR 180 min

Cheapest option but slow—do it for the views over hills. From Garut station, it's 15 mins by ojek (15,000 IDR) to the resort. No air-con, so bring water and a fan.

Bandung Airport Taxi From 350,000 IDR 120 min

Haggle at the airport counter or use Grab app for a fixed price. The route via Pasirwangi is scenic but winding—ask driver to avoid Cisurupan if you're prone to car sickness.

Local Angkot (Minibus) From 5,000 IDR 30 min

Take angkot route 'Cikajang' or 'Pamengpeuk' from the square—tell the driver you're going to Kampung Sumber Alam. It drops you at the main road; last 500m is a steep walk. Not for luggage-heavy trips.

Damri Shuttle From 50,000 IDR 150 min

Damri Airport Bus + Angkot From IDR 100,000 180 min

Take Damri bus to Garut city (Alun-alun), then catch angkot #05 to Sampireun. The angkot is cramped but costs less than IDR 5,000.
