Château de Tallard

13th-century fortress overlooking the Durance valley, perched on a rocky spur. Small entry fee (€4) to climb the towers and see the view.

💡 Bring a picnic and sit on the grassy slope below. The village of Tallard has a good Sunday market.

Getting Around Gap

L'AGGLO bus line 1 From €1.20 5 min

Buy a ticket at the Tabac shop inside the station or use the 'Mon Réseau' app. The stop 'Pasteur' is literally outside the hotel entrance on Rue Pasteur.

Taxi Gap Azur From €180 100 min

Pre-book for a fixed fare. Ask for a 'course à forfait' to avoid meter surprises. Good for groups of 3-4 sharing the cost.

Navette Aéroport From €25 120 min

Book online at least a day ahead on the LER bus site. The bus drops you a 15-min walk from Centre Oxygénation: head east on Avenue de la République, then turn right onto Rue Pasteur.

TER train From €35 180 min

The scenic route through the Durance valley is worth the extra time. From Gap station, it's a 10-min walk to the hotel: head south on Rue de la République, then left on Rue Pasteur.
