Deeper Into Gandhinagar

A quiet, leafy park along the Sabarmati Riverfront with walking paths, benches, and a small lake. Good for a relaxed afternoon stroll or picnic on the grass.

Gujarat Science City

GSRTC Bus Service (Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar) From ₹25 60 min

Get off at Gandhinagar Sector 10 stop, then take an auto-rickshaw (₹50-70) to Duven Hostel. Buses are reliable but crowded in peak hours.

Ahmedabad Metro (Phase 1) From ₹30 35 min

Metro runs only to Sector 1 currently – from there, take shared rickshaw (₹20) or walk 1.5km to Duven Hostel. Clean and safe for solo women travellers.

Ola/Uber from Ahmedabad Airport From ₹350 (Ola Mini) to ₹550 (Uber Go) 50 min

Select ‘Gandhinagar Sector 25’ as destination. Avoid Uber XL – standard hatchbacks are fine. Pay via app, cash not always accepted.

Prepaid Taxi from Ahmedabad Airport From ₹600 45 min

Book at the prepaid counter inside arrivals to avoid haggling. Tell driver to use the S.G. Highway – it’s faster than the old road.
