Things to Do in Erftstadt

A 12th-century Romanesque church with a Baroque interior. The wooden ceiling and painted pulpit are well preserved.

A moated castle in the town centre, built in the 14th century and later used as a bishop's residence. The courtyard and grounds are open to the public.

Remains of a Roman fort along the Eifel-Aqueduct route. Foundations, a reconstructed wall section, and information boards explain the history.

A loop walk along the River Erft through meadows and woodland, with reed beds and bird hides. You can spot kingfishers and herons easily.
