A striking Catholic cathedral built in the 1950s with a red brick exterior and a tall spire. The interior has simple wooden pews and stained glass windows depicting biblical scenes.

Getting Around Cyangugu
Pre-book through the hotel front desk; the driver meets you at arrivals holding a sign. Cash only, small bills preferred.
Tell the conductor 'Hoteli Nyamberi' – they'll drop you at the junction. Then it's a 2-minute walk uphill.
