Request a room on the upper floors (2nd or 3rd) facing the inner garden or pool. These rooms are farthest from the street and get the best cross-breeze and natural light.

Request a riverside villa, ideally set back from the access road. The Ayung River runs through the property, and rooms facing the valley or rice terraces get the best breeze and sound of water. Upper-floor suites in the main building also work, but the villas are quieter.

Rooms to avoid

Avoid ground-floor rooms near the lobby or restaurant, as foot traffic and dining noise can be intrusive. Also skip rooms facing Jalan Raya Ubud if the hotel fronts it — motorbikes start early here.

Avoid rooms near the access road leading into Ubud, especially ground-floor ones facing the driveway. The main building rooms closest to the lobby can catch traffic noise from early morning motorbikes and delivery vehicles.
